Ensembles, Prices and Policies

Dreams Come True Music will provide you with the right size ensemble or solo instrument to fit your budget and to suit your special needs. A trumpetist, vocalists, or organist can be added to any of our groups to suit your musical taste for your wedding ceremony or any other event (see more about special options at the end of this section).

Other Information

• Events other than weddings are usually set for certain time frame and are charged by the regular hourly rate.
• Regardless of the total length of time for your wedding ceremony, the ceremony music fee includes up to 30 minutes of prelude music (while your guests are being seated) and the ceremony music itself (as explained more in detail in our "Wedding Music Samples" Section). We are usually done when your guests have exited the area and the Bride is ready to pose for her photo pictures.
• For longer engagements such as a Wedding Ceremony plus Reception or for any other event, please see the following price list:

• The price will be established based on the total time contracted, for example: from the beginning of the Prelude to the end of the Reception, even if we have to change locations. According to the Musician's Union Rules, players are allowed to have a 10 minute break each hour. Musicians may combine the total of their break times in the middle of the engagement, if appropriate.
• If you would like to add a Trumpet for that special pompous effect during the procession of the bride, there is an extra cost which is added to the total fee of the group you choose. Please contact us for quote.
• You are welcome to invite your church's organist to play along with us, if you would like. Organ is usually used for the Bride's Processional or Recessional music only.
• We can either hire our own vocalists for you or accompany the ones you provide. Our vocalists usually set their own rates. Their fee will be added to ours so that you don't have to deal with them separately. You must send us the copy of the sheet music of your vocalist's songs (preferably with the piano accompaniment) and we will arrange it, if necessary. Arrangement fee is $60 if the length of your music is 5 minutes or less, $120.00 for 5 to 10 minutes, and so forth.
  You must send the music to us in a timely manner so that we receive it at least one month prior to the engagement.
• The following conditions must be met for all outdoor jobs:
  • It must be no hotter than 80 degrees Fahrenheit
  • It must be no colder than 55 degrees Fahrenheit
  • We will not play in direct sunlight, nor in rain
• If your event runs into overtime, we will attempt to stay longer if our schedules will allow. The overtime charge is the same as the "First Hour" rate above. Plan ahead since we cannot "guarantee" that all musicians will be available for overtime.
• There is an extra charge for some holiday performances.
• Travel Fees:
  • If your event is more than 25 miles from downtown Houston, there will be a travel fee added for each musician hired. The total fee will depend on your location.
